Gifts and souvenirs
Small gifts keep neighbours friendly: sweets after a trip, fruit from the countryside, a towel when you move in, and something back later. This lesson covers what to say when giving and receiving. It uses あげる, くれる and もらう from Everyday Japanese 4, in their simplest form. Tap to hear any line. The bar at the bottom plays a hands-free drill for walking.
